"Fishing is our life", having fished all of his working life so far, Steve and his wife, Jemma, thought it would be nice if the public could get the chance to experience fresh fish straight from the boat in the same way as they had for many years.

Steve and his crew work 'Our Sarah Jane' out of Newhaven everyday all year round in all weathers. Working as part of the responsible fishing scheme all the gear and boat is kept completely up to date. No expense is spared to ensure the smooth daily fishing operation.

Jemma set up the fish sales operation about a year ago. We are delighted they now run a fish counter at Brighton Farm Market every Saturday! Do get their early though as their fish is very popular - especially the live clams!
The locally caught fish comes directly from the boat to the fish counter, you can't get fresher than that!
